Set amongst the bustling Central Square and MIT areas, University Park's four Luxury Apartment Communities (KBL, 100 Landsdowne, Loft 23, & 91 Sidney) create a unique experience for residents to do just about anything. When you pull up to the leasing office at University Park you will be astounded by the size of the lawn that spans throughout the property. This is something that residents take full advantage of in the warmer seasons, allowing them to have a back yard bigger than they ever could have hoped.
Just because there are four buildings doesn't mean you will get the same from each. In fact each building brings with it it's own character and special quirks. KBL (or Kennedy Biscuit Lofts) is of course the oldest and quirkiest of them all. It used to be the Fig Newton factory and still has the oven in place to prove it. The units are mostly longer than they are wide and offer extreme amounts of space for the prices. For instance, a studio at KBL can offer up to 1,100 square feet! While this building uses older style appliances and carpeting in the units, residents typically choose them for the relative space and price. The other loft building at University Park, Loft 23, has more of the high end finishes but for a slightly higher price than KBL. The units have more of a typical loft feel with polished concrete floors and high ceilings with exposed pipes. The other two buildings could be compared with some of the West End apartments like Vesta and Asteria with their finishes and space. 100 Landsdowne is the highest rising building at University Park and offers some wood flooring with top of the line appliances at one of the higher price tags at the property while 91 Sidney is more similar to Asteria in that it has carpeting and in its size.
So how do you choose between these buildings when you want to move to University Park? I'd suggest visiting all of the ones that best fit your needs. If you want space and love lofts, then look at KBL and Loft 23. Either way remember to call myCityApartment at 617-391-8801 and we will be happy to help you make the decision!
